I knew Fred Cook quite well. Unfortunately, he passed in the 1990s. He was a mainstay at PulpCon.

I wonder if any of your correspondents know if Fred Cook is still alive, and if so, his location. I hung around with him at several conventions in the late 1960s, but lost contact because he seemed to have moved a couple of times due to his work. He was always a very likable guy, shared his huckster's table to help me sell my art prints. I was there when Bantam Books presented him with some original art because he promoted their pulp reprints out of his enthusiasm and the goodness of his heart!
