Interested in a Giveaway?
While it’s probably too late now, for the past week I’ve been considering publishing a “giveaway” for customers. I like that publishers used to do such things, both as a thank-you to customers as well as an incentive to purchase something.
Well, it’s never too late, I suppose, but to take advantage of the Christmas season it probably is. When’s the next milestone holiday… Valentine’s Day? Not a big one for pulp fans, I guess. But it’s something I plan on looking into.
What I’m thinking is a pocket-sized reprint of some pulp-related nugget. Perhaps it’ll be free with purchase of three Altus Press books or something along those lines.
Let me know if you might be interested in a premium of this sort.

I’m sure you’ve already thought of this, but if you’re going to attend the Windy City Con, you might take some giveaways to hand out. I’m pretty sure most of the attendees will be interested in samples of your product. Maybe some excerpts, or short articles from Rick’s and other books. Maybe something from Will’s upcoming essays. These could also become collector’s items!
