I’m half finished with this first volume and can’t believe how entertaining this character is. I know there have been some stories printed by Adventure House but for some reason I never bought one. I decided to take a chance on this book since I was so pleasantly surprised by the Super Detective Jim Anthony book. I look forward to the next volume.
How consistent is the series in quality? The first three novellas have really rocked!

I agree with you 100%. In fact, the first five stories are really one long epic. I wonder how many people have been able to realize this since they were hot off the press 70 years ago? There’s a lot more to be learned of the Ki-Gor series. In retrospect, I probably should have held the sixth story for volume 2, since those first five are so tightly tied to each other.

The continuity of the stories really surprised me. This series is a gem! Any place to see a release schedule for the year or just keep watching this site and coming attractions? I bought three issues of High Adventure containing Ki-Gor to tide me over until volume 2. Those tales are all much later in the series so I knew they wouldn’t be duplicated in Volume 2. It’s going to be a pleasure to own the entire run in the volumes you’re releasing. Finding this site has been invaluable to a pulp reading addict like me!
